Women in blockchain started in 2016. It was the only female first community in the space of the time.
Today it’s a global community run via local chapters and has the mission to be a catalyst for women’s equal participation in defining the impact of blockchain.
Women and Blockchain is about:
· creating community and collaborating with others,
· helping role models emerge and
· providing resources and opportunities.
Founder Mehrain says: “We focus on women, recognizing that drawing from diverse experiences is crucial for developing sustainable products and systems. The goal is to ensure that technology benefits everyone, enhances equality and contributes to a happier, unified world.”
Tiffany Gao hosted the Women in Blockchain event at NEARCon and sent out a call for women interested in opening different chapters to contact her – on linkedin
