Fundraisely.ie, a new blockchain-powered fundraising platform, is bringing transparency, speed, and community engagement to the world of charitable giving. Co‑founders Paula Guilfoyle and Simon Dyer believe fundraising should be simple, social, and verifiable, and their platform delivers just that.
“Fundraising can be painfully time‑consuming for local clubs and charities,” says Paula Guilfoyle. “I’ve run events where creating quizzes, collecting donations, and managing participants took hours. Fundraisely takes that friction away, you can set up a fundraising quiz in minutes, with full transparency on where the money goes.”
At its heart, Fundraisely is designed for clubs, community groups, and Web3 projects looking to raise money in an interactive way. Users can host quiz‑based events online or in‑person, with participants joining on their own devices. Entry fees and optional extras like bonus rounds or point steals flow directly to a smart contract, which automatically allocates funds to charity, prize pools, or the host community.
Transparency and trust are built in. By leveraging blockchain verification and integrating with The Giving Block, donations are provably traceable to the charities they support.
“For us, blockchain isn’t about complexity, it’s about trust,” says Simon Dyer. “Communities and donors want to know their contributions are making a real impact. Fundraisely gives them that confidence in real time.”
The platform is built to work across both traditional fundraising and Web3 impact campaigns, bridging the gap between offline communities and crypto‑native projects. Local clubs can raise funds in euros without ever touching crypto, while Web3 communities can host events that showcase blockchain’s transparency and automate giving to public goods.
“We’re embedding giving into the experience,” adds Guilfoyle. “People come for the fun of a quiz night, and they leave knowing they’ve made a difference.”
Fundraisely’s launch is supported by partnerships with The Giving Block for charity integrations and early community engagement initiatives with crypto and NFT projects. The platform also features leaderboards and media opportunities, turning local fundraising into a social, shareable movement.
“Our goal is simple,” says Dyer. “We want to make fundraising easy, fun, and fully accountable, whether you’re a local GAA club or a global Web3 community.”
With Fundraisely.ie is in beta and is expected to go live this quarter. Then charities and clubs can host their first event in under five minutes and watch transparency, community, and impact come together in one seamless experience.
