Wildchain launches NFT Collection called Rewilding Savanna on Earth Day 2023

Wildchain is set to launch its Genesis NFT Collection called “Rewilding Savanna” on Earth Day, April 22, 2023, at 12 pm GMT. This collection will consist of 25 exclusive NFTs, with the first eight available on Wildchain‘s Adoption Center marketplace. Each of these unique Savanna NFTs will represent the #1 species of its kind, making them one of a kind.

By adopting an NFT from this collection, you can support wildlife conservation efforts. Wildchain will donate 10% of the royalties generated from every adoption to wildlife conservation through their Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform (coming soon). Furthermore, Wildchain uses Celo, a carbon-negative blockchain, to make the minting of their NFTs planet-positive.

Rewilding Savanna NFTs offer several utilities, including Digital Twinning, Ongoing Fundraising, Gaming, and Dynamic features. Digital Twinning means that every wildlife NFT you adopt equals one wild animal in the real world. The ongoing fundraising feature ensures that 10% of every adoption will be donated to conservation. The gaming feature allows you to take care of your wildlife NFT in Wildchain’s mobile game (coming soon), while the dynamic feature ensures that your NFT will change and update over time as your animal grows up in the game.

Wildchain is a non-profit organization that aims to gamify conservation and encourage climate action through three climate-action tools: a play-to-impact mobile game, NFT collections with impact utility, and Wildfund, a Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform.

Their vision is to create a world where everyone knows the threats to nature and to rewild the world. As a non-profit organization, they donate 100% of their profits to real-world conservation projects. Join the virtual conservationist movement and take daily climate action with Wildchain.

Earth Day 2023

On April 22, 2023, people worldwide will participate in various activities to celebrate Earth Day, with over a billion individuals taking part. Some will plant trees, others will engage in neighborhood clean-up efforts, and some may opt to take a nature walk.

The theme of Earth Day 2023 is “Invest in Our Planet,” which emphasizes the need for collective action from governments, businesses, and individuals. Local officials can play a leading role by taking actions such as banning disposable plastics or restoring ecosystems.

Businesses can reduce their environmental impact by making changes such as using natural or recycled fabrics in clothing manufacturing or seeking out sustainable food sources in restaurants.

Individuals of all ages can also contribute by adopting small lifestyle changes, such as purchasing everyday items from environmentally conscious businesses, turning off lights and devices when not in use, biking to school instead of driving, and reducing plastic waste by using reusable water bottles and lunch boxes.
