The Absolute State of Crypto Influencers in 2024…

It was a stunning display of athleticism that surely left the ancient martial arts masters turning in their graves. The clash of crypto titans wasn’t just about redecorating each other’s faces and throwing drunken haymakers – it was a battle between their associated memecoins. In the crypto world, even the monetary value of a token is determined by the prowess of its developer in hand-to-hand combat. And it probably started like every good ‘ol fight starts…

My Memecoin Developer Can Kick Your Memecoin’s Developer Ass!

More Light, the mastermind behind theHarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu ($BITCOIN), took up the fight on a whim.

I had told the organizer at Karate Combat randomly if BitBoy’s opponent drops out I’ll fight him. I only heard about the fight like 4-5 weeks ago and had been relaxing, not training. So I had to get my ass in gear fast.” – said More Light.

Despite that, the decentralized betting app Polymarkets revealed that More Light was the crowd favorite with 62% of bets placed in his favor. Against the odds, Armstrong emerged victorious, leaving More Light staring at the lights. Actually no, that would be too poetic. The fight ended after Bitboy was declared the victor by unanimous decision after three two-minute rounds of fist-flying action.

Despite me joking about their fighting skills, I’ll admit that they scrap better than an average person of a similar lifestyle. Additionally, they take uncalculated risks and are easily influenced by the crowd’s reaction, so they represent the true nature of crypto connoisseurs!

The memecoin dev was surprised that Armstrong came out so “amped up” and was taken aback by him pulling wacky faces and literally swinging for the fences. He also fought very dirty, trying to stomp on Sonic’s head. ‘The Hedgehog’ also wasn’t squeaky clean, as both fighters took shots in the back of each other’s heads.

You don’t have to be an expert to see that the referee was a pushover, barely enforcing any rules. Perhaps the fight wouldn’t be as ‘watchable’ for the casual viewers if the ‘zebra’ stepped in every few seconds.

Anywho… The crypto analytic in you would probably want to know how this fight affected the prices?

Is The Pump of a Token Worth Two Pumps In The Face?

Their associated memecoins – Ben (BEN) and HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu ($BITCOIN) whipsawed before and after the brawl.

Following Armstrong’s win, the price of $BITCOIN plunged more than 20% in 4 hours, falling from $0.052 to $0.040. The token has since rebounded and is trading at around $0.056, up 40% from the end of the fight.

Meanwhile, the price of an Armstrong-linked memecoin called BEN surged 87% following Amrstrong’s victory, spiking from $0.000004 to $0.0000075 in six hours. The price of the token has since fallen back to around $0.000005… After the beating, ‘More Light’ reiterated that there was no conflict between them in real life. The fight also attracted various responses from crypto industry pundits, ranging from amusement to criticism.

As one astute trader, TheFlowHorse, pointed out, winning a competition doesn’t magically erase past misdeeds for BitBoy. But hey, at least now he can add “human cockfighting champ” to his illustrious resume of shilling questionable coins.

My opinion? They both suck.

Not only these two gents but the whole crypto influencer community as a whole – it is a space that thrives on lies and scams. The truth doesn’t get you far in crypto YouTube, and everyone who wants to start a channel hypes HEX and XRP to get stable views.

That’s what Ben Armstrong has been shilling ever since he lost his channel and started a new one.

Avoid Anyone With A Gaping Mouth Thumbnail

I wish I was joking, but the way someone positions their jaw on YouTube is a big sign of whether you can trust them.

The YouTube landscape has a very small niche for honest actors, and the public’s attention is on the “cheap and hot” coins they want to hear good things about. In the short run, the market is a voting machine but in the long run, it is a weighing machine. Credit to old geezer Warren for this mindbomb!

If you think that this is a very negative outlook on crypto Youtube, let me share a sentiment of a content creator with no following:

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Never give people any financial advice, or your whole family will be cursed. Heck, you can be cursed by your own family members, if you’re not careful.

For your long-term mental health, please stay away from producing or consuming any YouTube content. Even if you find someone with normal content, you really don’t need to watch 16 hours of Benjamin Cowen reminding you about the effectiveness of DCA.

Don’t let anyone call your next step, lose money on your own! Or don’t. In any case, I wish you a great week full of awesome moments.
