“I started playing Upland in April 2021 after discovering it while mining crypto through the Brave browser. The concept and the earth-based view immediately drew me in. For the first few months, I played solo, unaware of the rich community that existed within the game. It wasn’t until I found the Upland Discord server that I truly fell in love with the game, especially with UDU and Uplando’s show.
“During the first Master Builder’s competition, I decided to try Blender for the first time. With the support of the community, I navigated the steep learning curve. Shortly after, I was recruited by Ben68 and Morecheese to join Samurai Aquatics, where I created the first set of map assets for them.
“I also attempted to enter the first Genesis Ornament competition, though without success.”

“By the time the Rio Carnival Ornament competition came around, I was ready. My designs secured 5 out of 8 winning positions, and the prize funds helped me start building my future HUB in LA at 11200 Peoria St.
“I’ve always loved participating in Master Builder’s competitions, though I’ve only managed to win three times. The competition is incredibly tough, and it’s always inspiring to see what others create.
“Winning the Genesis Design Challenge in 2023 was an amazing experience. Now, the 2024 Genesis Design Challenge is on a whole new level, and I hope it marks the beginning of an exciting trend in UGC. I can’t wait to see more creator-inspired cities in Upland!
“I’m extremely grateful to Upland for pushing me to learn 3D design—something I’ve grown to truly love. I believe that together, we can build Upland into the most incredible metaverse project, as the concept behind it is solid and attracts some amazing artists.
