What sparked my interest in blockchain was how radically different it was from anything I’d seen in the traditional world—a technology brimming with infinite possibilities. As I delved deeper down the rabbit hole, I was captivated by the vision of a decentralized future where people could have sovereignty over their money and where systems were designed to challenge the status quo. Like many, I was initially drawn by the financial opportunities, but what truly hooked me was discovering the welcoming communities, life-long friendships, and the revolutionary tools that Web3 offers. Turning that passion into a career was about embracing this new world wholeheartedly—investing, learning, and building alongside some of the most innovative minds in the space. It became more than just a career; it became a mission to contribute to this transformative movement.
2. As a leading woman in the crypto industry, what challenges have you faced, and how have you overcome them?
Being a woman in a predominantly male-dominated industry has come with its share of challenges, from resistance to being underestimated. Yet, I’ve always believed in the power of collaboration over competition, and for every challenge, there have been incredible allies in the industry who’ve supported me. My approach has been simple: don’t wait for permission. I’ve learned to take my seat at the table, trust my instincts, and focus on making meaningful contributions. Crypto is an industry that thrives on boldness and innovation, and I’ve found that by embracing those qualities, I’ve not only overcome challenges but also helped pave the way for others to do the same.
3. What do you consider your most significant achievement in the Web3 space, and why does it stand out?
My journey in Web3 has been filled with highlights, from advising groundbreaking projects and Web3 funds to delivering keynote speeches at some of the world’s most prominent tech, Web3, and fintech events, such as Money 2020 and Web Summit. I’m also incredibly proud to host the Crypto Megan Podcast, where I’ve had the privilege of interviewing visionaries like Tim Draper, Yat Siu, and Charles Hoskinson, as well as other industry leaders and celebrities making meaningful contributions to the space, including the Snoop Dogg family. What stands out the most to me, however, is the opportunity to inspire others—to demonstrate that this cultural and financial revolution is about more than technology; it’s about creating a more equitable and decentralized world. My greatest passion lies in spreading this message, encouraging people to dream big, and taking bold steps in this new paradigm. Being part of a movement that has the potential to redefine human history is profoundly fulfilling, and it’s a privilege to help shape its future.
4. How do you view the evolution of gender diversity in crypto, and what advice would you give to young women entering the space?
Web3 transcends gender, race, and ethnicity—that’s its beauty. It creates an equal playing field where individuals are recognized for the value they contribute. The crypto industry is gradually becoming more inclusive, but there’s still work to be done.
What excites me is seeing more women step into the space with confidence and creativity. My advice to young women is simple: don’t wait for an invitation. Take your seat at the table, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to seek help from the many supportive individuals in the community. Don’t let fear dictate your decisions—embrace boldness and persistence as your greatest allies. Seek out mentors, trust your instincts, and keep pushing forward without ever giving up.

Joining the Secret Network Foundation is an incredible opportunity to contribute to the growth of decentralized confidential computing (DCC), a technology I believe is critical for the evolution of blockchain and AI. I’m particularly excited about leveraging my network to forge powerful collaborations with top-tier projects, expanding awareness of Secret Network, and driving its adoption. This role allows me to champion privacy-focused innovations and help advance initiatives that could reshape industries. These experiences, coupled with judging roles at investment summits and serving as a guest judge on Tim Draper’s Meet the Drapers, have provided me with unmatched perspectives on emerging trends and technologies.
Some of the most exciting advancements are in decentralized AI, privacy-preserving solutions, and interoperability—innovations that have the potential to revolutionize industries in the years ahead.

My career has transformed from delivering lectures at my local country club in Marbella to traveling the world as a keynote speaker, hosting fireside chats, and filming for my podcast, The Crypto Megan Podcast, in studios across New York, Hollywood, and Marbella. I’ve also had the privilege of hosting my podcast on Tim Draper’s Draper TV, further amplifying my reach and influence in the Web3 space. Alongside these milestones, I’ve taken on advisory roles for revolutionary projects like Secret Network, continually pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the industry.
Looking ahead, I’m stepping into co-founder roles for several promising ventures, aiming to build transformative products that redefine what we can achieve with Web3 technology.
