Blockchain can manage smart contacts, real world assets can be digitised and tracked, tokenised. Digital currencies can help ensure full traceability of emergency funds into the hands of those who need them, and not the scammers or criminals.
I believe the opportunity is there for web3 to mobilise as real solutions, and leverage the community, decentralised approach to address some of the biggest challenges that are going to face us in this lifetime: just what kind of world will be accept to live in?
I am a strong believer that the democracy of individuals through web3 tools is the future for this planet – the social aspects and the recognition of the impact that individuals can have on the planet.
So – why should you be interested in COP28 and next year’s COP29 – because web3 has the solutions to the problems that are discussed. Web3 need to communicate the trust, transparency and ease that the technical solutions can bring, but through a real-world solution lens. What are you going to do?
