Lambow: The most Entrepreneurial Meme Coin on Base

You can watch the interview here:

“I think people like to know who they are dealing with. I’ve built my reputation in blockchain writing for one of the largest publications in the space (Benzinga) and I produce and host some of the biggest meme coin Spaces shows on Twitter (X), so it gives people a sense of trust and accountability for me to go full-in on Lambow. People know I wouldn’t risk what I’ve spent years building on a flimsy project.”

Lambow feels like the next-generation of meme coins – although the art is colorful and original, its value is staked in the practical skills of the team as well as the meme narrative and its community.

“A meme coin is in essence a free-floating brand. Big Lamb, my co-founder, and I realized that so much of what makes a great meme comes from good marketing and a solid business sense. I have media connections and a public face, and the other founders have deep experience launching and marketing successful businesses. In the meme coin space, knowing how to run a business – having more than a quirky idea and attitude – distinguishes your project.”

Justin said he entered the meme coin space after years of interviewing leading analysts in TradFi and digital assets.

“It seemed the more ‘serious’ and high-profile the analyst was, the more they went out of their way to kick meme coins as a concept. I’m enough of a contrarian that I wanted to know why – what do meme coins have that threatens big finance so much? Launching Lambow is a continuation of that exploration into meme coins, to try and understand how these projects work even from the inside.”

Justin is enthusiastic about Lambow, but he is also very eager to learn.

“We’re navigating the meme coin world with our eyes wide open,” he says. “The journey is about more than immediate gains. We’re here for the long term. And often the best advice comes from members of the Lambow community.”

Roberti emphasizes the essential role of community engagement, which he sees as a far more accurate measure of progress than market cap. “Wherever we are today doesn’t define where we will be tomorrow. The line goes up and down, that’s the nature of things,” he explains. “What matters is the ongoing support from thousands of Lambros and Lambras. We listen to our community. Their enthusiasm drives us. The price will fluctuate, but our commitment to the brand and community won’t.”

Recently, Lambow announced its first move to expand its narrative and incorporate revenue-generation by making the friendliest lamb on Base also a very business-friendly, entrepreneurial lamb.

“We have so much great, practical business experience on our team, we want to focus on offering content that can help everyone in the community reach their financial goals and achieve success. Viewing Lambow as a platform for entrepreneurs is a great way to share the secrets we have for success and tap a potential new audience by expanding the narrative.”

Roberti contrasts Lambow with other projects. “Some meme coins lack solid business experience or any real concept of what to do after launch,” he notes. “We’re different. We have a strong marketing team and a clear vision.”

With experienced partners and a vibrant community, Lambow is poised for innovation.

The project’s future includes bridging the physical world. “We’re working on merchandise and exploring other revenue streams,” Roberti reveals. “We want to offer something tangible and engaging for our community. But we are exploring many ideas on brand extensions, partially to serve the community that loves us and partly to explore more ideas for revenue generation.”

Lambow stated that part of the goal is to take the pressure off token sales to keep the project running and actually allow the project to buy back tokens, adding more value for all holders.

Lambow’s success hinges on its community’s involvement. “It’s not just about the price,” Roberti says. “It’s about building a brand that people are excited to support. The aim is to create a lasting, meaningful presence in the crypto space. We’re here to build something lasting, not just profit.”

Looking ahead, Roberti sees a growing market for meme coins. “I expect more will emerge,” he says. “Meme coins reflect public sentiment. “They offer a way to gauge the zeitgeist.” He envisions a future where every public figure might have their own coin. Memes provide a direct gauge of public interest and approval.”

Roberti reflects on the broader implications. “Meme coins could become integral to Web3,” he suggests. “They might become part of a marketing strategy for more serious projects, including the big L1s and L2s, similar to NFTs. We are already partnering with meme-crossover projects that are using meme coins to fund RWA plays, for example.” He sees them as tools for genuine community engagement and feedback.

The essence of meme coins lies in belief and community. “It’s not just about trading,” Roberti explains. “It’s about investing in an idea.” He views meme coins as a way to support and participate in a collective vision.

Roberti is excited and optimistic about Lambow’s future. “We’re committed to making this work,” he said, “We want to build something special together. The goal is to create lasting value and engage meaningfully with the community.”

As Roberti concludes, “Join us if you’re interested. We’re excited to have you. Lambow is for everyone that wants to be part of building something big.”
