Hurlingham Club, London hosts Digital Assets and Web3 Community

Friday 23rd June, in glorious sunshine, a brilliant celebration of the Digital Assets and Web3 community hosted by Korby Hayre of House of Block, set the scene for the inaugural garden party.

The braincihild of Hayre, an experienced events/conference producer who has come far since her days at the BBC where she worked on household brands creating experiential campaigns on BBC events. She is no newcomer to the Blockchain scene having worked across a number of global events since 2018. House of Block was set up in principle in 2019. Since then it has been her passion and vision to create a unique event to celebrate blockchain in the UK with a global audience. Tired of too many ‘same-same’ events that have popped up all over the world, Hayre’s vision was to create an intimate and informative event for leaders in this space, where quality content took precedence over ‘panel-fatigue’ and putting networking at the heart of the day in a relaxed garden setting.

With this in mind, Hayre selected Hurlingham Club, with its international reputation, as the venue, focused on providing the best that English hospitality can offer – including strawberries and cream, champagne, a lavish bbq and chilled rose´wine throughout the evening.

The programme was sponsored by Grant Thornton, White Light NFT, Aksun and Appold and supported by Blacks, Zebu and Blockleaders. A total of 150 select guests gathered at Hurlingham in the afternoon to enjoy Pimms before the day began.

The conference was brisk – details of the agenda are below – with conversations lively. The audience was quick to jump in and ask questions that concerned them. The pace was fast and rapier sharp.

Highlights included a live auction of spectacular NFT art by Guy Stubard, presented by White Light NFT and conversations led by Jonny Fry – The Future of Money and Web3, Monty Monford discussed how brands are harnessing Web3. No discussion would be complete without thought leaders discussing UK and Global Crypto regulations with Rob Gaskell. The afternoon ended with a thought-provoking walkthrough on AI presented by Dr Christian de Vartavan.

For anyone unlucky to have missed this event, now firmly etched on the minds of Web3 leaders, they could keep the date of June 7, 2024 in their diary. “Hurlingham is the perfect venue for an international audience”
