House of Block Dinner Highlights Return on Relationships as the New ROI in Digital Assets

Supper Club draws full house of industry leaders for launch of Digital Assets Who’s Who

House of Block, the crypto and Web3 events specialist, launched its annual Who’s Who in Digital Assets at a Supper Club dinner in London on Thursday 5 February. Forty nine industry leaders from across digital assets, Web3, law, finance and regulatory policy attended the evening, where House of Block Founder Korby Hayre set out why Return on Relationships is increasingly viewed as important as Return on Investment.

Korby Hayre said, “I like to mix it up and host events at venues of distinction. More importantly, I design for quality business relationships. It is not about ROI anymore. It is about ROR. People still buy people first.”

As conference attendance is often driven by scale and free access, House of Block positions its Supper Club as a deliberate countertrend, focused on curation, paid commitment and depth of engagement. With a growing premium on trust and personal connection across the Web3 ecosystem, relationship-led forums are gaining relevance. House of Block is reinforcing its role as both a publisher and event host, and as a convener of focused industry dialogue.

Joshua Ashley Klayman, Global Co-Head of the Tech Sector, U.S. Head of Fintech and Head of Blockchain and Digital Assets at Linklaters, said, “Return on Relationships is crucial in our practice. Trust, credibility and long-term relationships are what drive meaningful outcomes, particularly in complex, fast-moving sectors such as digital assets.”

Professor Brunello Rosa, CEO of Rosa and Roubini Associates, said, “Technology is no longer geopolitically neutral. Digital assets, AI, payments infrastructure and data centres are now deeply embedded in global power competition. Understanding geopolitics is no longer optional for technology leaders. It is essential to strategic decision-making.”

The dinner was held at Balthazar in Covent Garden. Attendees included senior representatives from Pennington Manches Cooper, Travers Smith, Proskauer Rose, Lawrence Stephens and RMS, alongside family offices, banks and other industry stakeholders. Informal discussions during the evening covered:

Agentic AI and its implications for decision-making
The geopolitical race for currency supremacy and dollar dominance
Stablecoins and global payments infrastructure
Natural resources, data centres and Bitcoin mining
Global technology regulation and cross-border compliance

House of Block’s Who’s Who in Digital Assets profiles leaders and decision-makers across the sector and provides a gateway to expertise, partnerships and shared insight. This year’s edition reflects the continued growth of digital assets and Web3 worldwide, and the strength of the international community shaping the market.
