Grant Thornton UK LLP, one of the world’s largest professional services networks of independent accounting and consulting member firms, is sponsoring the headline Web3 event this June in Hurlingham Club, London. The Digital Assets & Web3 Garden Party, on 23 June 2023, will connect the blockchain ecosystem and be a B2B event for the attendees to network with like-minded people. Attendees will explore new business opportunities with some of the most influential people in the Blockchain technology space. Topics covered include crypto, regulation, NFTs, Metaverse, Web3 and AI.
Participants are expected to collaborate, build relations, develop ecosystems, and meet the investors and entrepreneurs that are driving the industry. The event is organised by Korby Hayre, founder of House of Block.
Grant Thornton’s Carmel King leads the firm’s digital asset recovery practice. Where someone has suffered a financial loss due to fraud or a dispute, she and her team investigate and work alongside litigators to secure judgments. Most importantly, they turn those judgments into realisations using various processes such as court appointments and insolvency proceedings.
King’s wider role involves coordinating the many pockets of blockchain and digital asset expertise across the UK and international market to meet the needs of this sector.
“I’m a huge fan of the digital asset, blockchain and web3 space, and Korby has done a fantastic job with House of Block to curate a highly collaborative, engaged group of experts and global thought leaders. We are very keen to support this sector, be it assisting builders and innovators with the direct needs of their organisations, giving them space and room to grow safely, or to learn about the great work that is being done and consider how we can assist,” says King.
“This event is going to be very special given the exceptional nature of House of Block,” she adds.
This is going to be the event of the summer! Between builders, investors, family offices, entrepreneurs and professional service advisors it’s a major opportunity to come together to discuss the latest developments and learn a huge amount. There will be opportunities to explore synergies and partnerships, attend interesting talks and socialise in the beautiful surroundings of the Hurlingham Club.
